The events St. Pete looks forward to all year.
Four signature events. Four moments that bring the best of St. Pete’s business community together to celebrate, compete, learn, and lead.
The Chamber’s year has a shape.
Four signature nights anchor it, and everything else fills in around them. Between those, the calendar runs on smaller things: Lunch & Learns, ribbon cuttings, committee meetings, socials, and the program series that members join for a season at a time.
Roughly 150 events a year in total. Most are open to members and their guests; a few are member-only, and the signature nights sell tables as well as seats.
Signature nights
Four of them, listed below. They sell out, so book early if you want a table rather than seats.
Program series
Leadership St. Pete, SPYP, The Greenhouse. Joined for a season rather than an evening.
Everything else
Ribbon cuttings, Lunch & Learns, committees and socials, most weeks of the year.
Annual Meeting
Where St. Pete business comes together to lead.
The Annual Meeting is one of the most important moments on the Chamber calendar — and one of the most memorable evenings of the year.
Every year the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce gathers its members, investors, community leaders, and emerging voices for an evening that sets the tone for everything ahead. The Annual Meeting is where we look back at the work we’ve done together, honor the individuals who have made a real impact on this community, and formally welcome the leaders stepping forward to guide us into the next chapter.
This is where our new Board of Governors is announced. Where our Member of the Year is recognized. Where the momentum of St. Pete’s business community is on full display — and where the room always leaves feeling like the best is still yet to come.
Set against a backdrop worthy of the occasion, the Annual Meeting brings together the decision-makers, investors, and changemakers shaping the future of St. Petersburg. It is an evening of connection, celebration, and genuine optimism for this city we love.
St. Pete Brick Pitch
St. Pete’s entrepreneurs take the stage.
Five pitches. One winner. An entire community cheering them on.
St. Pete is a city that builds things — businesses, ideas, movements, futures. Brick Pitch is where that entrepreneurial spirit comes alive in one room.
Every year the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a friendly but fiercely exciting competition where five local entrepreneurs step up, make their case, and compete for a cash prize to fuel their startup dream. It’s part competition, part community celebration, and entirely St. Pete.
Five participants. A panel of local expert judges. A live audience that votes for their favorite. And a cash grand prize that goes to the entrepreneur the community believes in most.
But it’s about more than the competition. It’s about what happens when a city that genuinely supports its entrepreneurs gets in a room together — the connections made, the ideas sparked, the collaborations that start over a handshake after the winner is announced. Past finalists have gone on to build some of St. Pete’s most exciting businesses. The next one could be in that room with you.
Fun fact
In 2025, four of the five finalists were 1 Million Cups alumni — proof that showing up, sharing your idea, and letting the St. Pete community weigh in really works.
What to expect
- Five innovative pitches from local entrepreneurs
- Q&A with a panel of local expert judges
- Audience Choice Award voted on live by attendees
- Grand Prize cash award presented to the winner
- Networking before and after with St. Pete’s entrepreneurial community
Thinking Outside the ’Burg
Leave St. Pete to love St. Pete even more.
The Chamber’s premier leadership benchmarking trip — for bold leaders who come home ready to build.
Every year a group of St. Pete’s most forward-thinking leaders packs their bags, leaves the ’Burg behind for a few days, and comes back with fresh ideas, deeper relationships, and a renewed passion for the city they’re building together.
TOTB is the St. Petersburg Area Chamber’s annual executive benchmarking experience — a curated, multi-day trip that brings together Chamber investors, business executives, and community changemakers to explore how another thriving city tackles the same challenges and opportunities we face in St. Pete. Economic development. Workforce. Entrepreneurship. Housing. Transportation. Quality of life. We go, we listen, we learn, and we bring it home.
This is not a conference. There are no name tags and breakout sessions in a ballroom. TOTB is an immersive, relationship-building experience — exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, private sessions with local industry leaders, intentional small-group dinners, and the kind of honest conversations that only happen when you’re away from the office and genuinely curious about what’s possible.
Past trips have taken us to Atlanta, New Orleans, Charleston, and beyond. Each destination chosen intentionally. Each agenda built to spark actionable ideas.
Spots are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and the conversations meaningful. If you want to go, don’t wait.
“If you really love St. Pete and want to make a difference, this is how you do it. This trip builds trust, sparks collaboration, and creates a community of leaders who return ready to strengthen our city.”
Chris Steinocher, President & CEO

Good ’Burger Awards
St. Pete’s favorite night of the year.
In St. Pete, a “burger” isn’t just something you put on a grill. It’s a term of endearment — a nod to a former mayor who affectionately called his citizens “St. Petersburgers.” And a Good ’Burger? That’s someone who shows up for this city, builds something worth celebrating, and makes St. Pete a little better just by being here.
The Good ’Burger Awards were created to honor exactly those people — and every year the Chamber brings the whole community together to celebrate them.
It is one of St. Pete’s most anticipated evenings of the year. From innovative entrepreneurs and nonprofit champions to arts and culture leaders and hometown favorites, the Good ’Burger Awards shines a spotlight on the businesses, organizations, and individuals whose passion, leadership, and community spirit continue to shape the future of our city.
The evening features an exclusive VIP Reception for sponsors and VIP guests, followed by the awards program where finalists are honored across multiple categories reflecting the full depth and diversity of St. Pete’s business community. It’s a celebration. It’s a reunion. It’s the room where St. Pete’s best come together to cheer each other on.
Whether you’re celebrating a finalist, entertaining clients, or simply enjoying an unforgettable evening with the people who make this city special — the Good ’Burger Awards is the night you don’t want to miss.

Ambassadors Council Meeting
Being an Ambassador for the St. Petersburg Chamber is an important role. For new members especially, you will be one of the first people they meet. Ambassadors are volunteers who help promote the St. Pete Chamber business community and support chamber functions — projecting a positive image, helping with volunteer roles at events, reaching out to welcome new members, and thanking renewal members. Being an Ambassador is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to increase visibility for you and your business.

Applicants must be Main Street Level members or higher, and in good standing.
Hospitality & Tourism
The St. Pete Chamber’s Hospitality & Tourism Committee brings together the people and businesses who make our city a premier destination. It’s a space for hospitality and tourism professionals to connect, share ideas, brainstorm on critical industry topics, and collaborate on opportunities that strengthen our visitor economy. Whether you run a hotel, restaurant, attraction, or service that supports visitors, this committee gives you a voice in shaping St. Pete’s future while growing your network and your business.
Chefs Circle Forum
St. Pete’s restaurants, cafes and bars provide so much of the flavor, culture, vibrancy, and economic activity in our community for visitors and residents alike — we aren’t St. Pete without them. As an industry, hospitality is facing numerous headwinds from economic pressures on the consumer, labor challenges, significant inflation on cost of goods, energy and leasing, softening tourism, and an ever-widening competitive environment. Each Forum focuses on identifying challenges, exploring opportunities, and setting advocacy action. Discussion is primarily oriented for owners, managers and leaders at restaurants and bars. Non-Chamber members can attend one Forum session as a guest.
The Family Forum
A quarterly Forum addressing the unique needs, challenges, and perspectives of generational family businesses in the St. Pete area. Our goal is to create dialogue, education, resources, and collaboration focused on trends, solutions, and best practices. Common areas of concern are succession, staffing, marketing, leadership transition, operational changes, and asset preservation. To participate, businesses must be family-owned, family-operated, and have at least two generations involved (up to 4 people may attend from each business).
