Faith leaders and interested community members are invited to join the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of St. Petersburg, and the Bay Area Apartment Association for the launch of the YIGBY (Yes In God’s Backyard) initiative—an opportunity to learn how faith communities can help address local housing needs by thoughtfully activating underutilized church property. 

This introductory gathering will provide an overview of the model, highlight real examples, and connect congregations with experts and resources as part of an ongoing community conversation about housing solutions.
