“Unscripted Success with Lauren Hubbard” shines a global spotlight on Hartfield’s journey through entrepreneurship, leadership and service.

The newest episode of Unscripted Success with Lauren Hubbard on RHStv introduces viewers to Gary Hartfield, a Tampa Bay entrepreneur, business leader and community advocate whose journey has been shaped by ambition, resilience, service and a commitment to building opportunities for others.
Hartfield, who is also a candidate for mayor of Tampa, joins host Lauren Hubbard for a wide-ranging conversation about the experiences behind the many titles attached to his name. From becoming a father at 16 and spending 25 years as a CEO to building a leadership program for the next generation and continuing Serenity Village in honor of his late sister, Tammy, Hartfield reflects on the experiences that shaped his approach to leadership, entrepreneurship and service.
One message resonates throughout the conversation: Leadership is about responsibility, not recognition.
Hubbard also explores the stories behind Hartfield’s books, Stand: My Memoir and The Journey to Success: A Blueprint for Winning in Life and in Business, which grew from an unexpected gift from a friend who encouraged him to share his story with a broader audience. The conversation also turns to Hartfield’s campaign for mayor of Tampa and the issues he says are central to his candidacy, including affordability and workforce housing.
