City of St. Petersburg Launches "Holiday Biz Bingo in the 'Burg" to Support Local Businesses
Nov. 19, 2025 – This holiday season, the City of St. Petersburg is encouraging residents and visitors to shop local and celebrate the spirit of community through a new citywide initiative called Holiday Biz Bingo in the 'Burg.
Launching the week of Thanksgiving and running through December 31, Holiday Biz Bingo invites residents and visitors on a citywide effort to discover and support St. Pete's small businesses.
Participants can grab a Holiday Biz Bingo card from participating businesses, City facilities, community events, or download one at www.stpete.org/bingo. Each card includes activities across categories like retail, dining, coffee shops, and wellness services - turning holiday shopping into a fun, choose-your-own-adventure challenge.
How to play:
- Get a bingo card - Pick up a Holiday Biz Bingo card at participating businesses, libraries, City Hall, community events, or download it from the City's website.
- Complete local challenges - Shop, dine, and attend seasonal events to support St. Pete's local businesses. Participants are encouraged to post their experiences on social media and tag the City to spread the holiday cheer.
- Collect stickers - Each time an activity is completed, staff at participating businesses will add a sticker to the participant's card. No purchase verification is required - keeping the experience fun, low-pressure and community-centered.
- Participants who collect five stickers in a row (BINGO) can redeem their cards at City Hall, local recreation centers, or libraries for a City-branded prize while supplies last.
Businesses interested in participating can sign up via a short form on the City's website at www.stpete.org/bingo. Once registered, participants may stop by St. Petersburg City Hall (175 5th Street N) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting Monday, Nov. 24, to pick up their Holiday Biz Bingo kit. The kit comes with stickers, bingo cards, and an easy-to-follow instruction guide.
