Florida’s #1 Children's Hospital Three Years in a Row

U.S. News & World Report published the 2025 – 2026 Best Children’s Hospitals survey results today. Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is ranked as the #1 children’s hospital in Florida for the third consecutive year and is the only nationally recognized children’s hospital in Tampa Bay.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s also ranked among the top 50 programs nationally in eight specialties:

  • Diabetes and Endocrinology #17
  • Neurology and Neurosurgery #22
  • Orthopaedics #25
  • Pulmonology and Lung Surgery #33
  • Cancer #37
  • Cardiology and Heart Surgery #39
  • Urology #43
  • Nephrology #49

The endocrinology program and neurology and neurosurgery program lead the state of Florida in their respective specialties, and endocrinology, orthopaedics, and pulmonology and lung surgery achieved their highest rankings ever. You can view the complete survey results at U.S. News & World Report and learn more about Johns Hopkins All Children’s excellent rankings on our website.

In addition to our three-peat as Florida’s top hospital, Johns Hopkins All Children’s was ranked #4 in the Southeastern United States, tied with North Carolina Children’s Hospital at UNC. State and regional rankings are based on the number of pediatric specialties in which a hospital ranks nationally, and this is our strongest regional ranking yet.

Our results reflect the extraordinary work of physicians, nurses, and clinical team members in these eight specialties as well as the expertise and support of team members across the hospital. We are a trusted leader in children’s care thanks to their dedication.

The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore ranked nationally in 10 programs. We congratulate our Children’s Center colleagues and are pleased to continue our collaboration in research, treatment and education.

Each day, we provide expertise, hope, healing, and the highest quality care. We appreciate all that you do for the patients and families we serve.
