Great Explorations Children's Museum Unveils New Exhibit, "Tiny Explorers Lagoon.”
St. Petersburg, FL – Great Explorations Children's Museum is excited to announce the opening of its new exhibit, "Tiny Explorers Lagoon.” This exhibit offers an immersive lagoon experience for children ages 1-3, providing a safe and engaging space for young children to explore, learn, and play.
Tiny Explorers Lagoon offers an array of engaging interactive features, such as lily pads and cattails, a bridge, a canoe, a farm-themed activity wall, and more. Children can immerse themselves in imaginative play, pretending to paddle through the lagoon, hop across the lily pads, and delve into farm-themed activities designed to enhance sensory exploration and fine motor skills.
Angeline Howell, CEO of Great Explorations Children's Museum, expressed her gratitude to the Houghton Wagman Family, stating, "We are thrilled to introduce 'Tiny Explorers Lagoon' to our museum, thanks to the generous support of the Houghton-Wagman Family. This exhibit offers children a fun and educational experience that encourages imaginative play and exploration. We believe that 'Tiny Explorers Lagoon' will be a favorite among families visiting the museum.”

Great Explorations Children’s Museum has served the children and families of the Tampa Bay area since 1987. Designed for children 10 and under, the 23,000-square-foot museum is filled with exhibits and activities to stimulate learning through creativity, play, and exploration. This AAM-accredited children’s museum also offers a national award-winning preschool, camps, field trips, and community outreach programs.
