TAMPA – Hill Ward Henderson represented Scott’s Liquid Gold-Inc. in its reverse merger with Horizon Kinetics LLC. The transaction closed on August 1, 2024 and created a public company renamed Horizon Kinetics Holding Corporation with a market capitalization of approximately $465 million based on the August 2 closing price.
Horizon Kinetics Holding Corporation primarily offers investment advisory services through its subsidiary Horizon Kinetics Asset Management LLC ("HKAM"), a registered investment adviser. HKAM provides independent proprietary research and investment advisory services for mainly long-only and alternative value-based investing strategies. The firm also holds a portfolio of consumer products, which are marketed and distributed in the retail marketplace.
