SPIFFS is turning to our fellow Chamber members for your volunteer help
St Petersburg, Fla., October 2, 2024 – The St Petersburg International Folk Fair (SPIFFS), which celebrate local expressions of global cultures, is urgently seeking volunteers for this years’ 49th International Fair Folk Fair. Help ensure that we can share over 20 cultural villages with thousands of young people registered to attend each day.
With recent hardships that have impacted the Tampa Bay area, a number of organizations that have provided volunteers in the past, have understandably needed to redirect their resources.
As a long-standing member of the St Pete Chamber,
SPIFFS is turning to our fellow Chamber members for your volunteer help.
Needs:
- Gate, tickets sales, cash handling
- Merchandise Sales, drink Sales
- Runners, Roaming Helpdesk
- Photography, videography
- Loading in (Weds, October 16)
Dates: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 17, 18 and 19.
- Thursday and Friday are student days: most shifts are from 9-12 or 12-3.
- Saturday is open to the public, with shifts from 9-12, 12-3 and 3-6.
- A few shifts begin and end at other times each day.

- If you volunteer one shift, you may come early or stay late to enjoy the fair that day.
- Sign up for 2 shifts on Thursday OR Friday, we will give you 1 free ticket for Saturday.
- Sign up for 2 shifts on Thursday AND Friday, we will give you 2 free tickets for Saturday.
