St. Pete Marketing Firm Promotes Lindsay Petty Wattam to Partner

St. Petersburg, FL — Pyper, Inc., an integrated marketing agency headquartered in historic First Block in St. Pete, is thrilled to announce that Lindsay Petty Wattam has been promoted to Partner. She will continue her role as Vice President and an integral part of the leadership team, as well as her daily duties overseeing the agency’s strategy and client relationships.

Petty Wattam joined the agency in 2016 after working in-house for the University of South Florida, where she built a team of ten in less than two years and shepherded marketing strategies across the university system, including admissions, athletics, and graduate programs, working with multiple agencies and creative partners. Prior to USF, she spent three seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays marketing team coordinating the ins and outs of marketing, branding, advertising, and production for the brand. Lindsay earned a BA cum laude from University of Richmond’s prestigious Jepson School of Leadership Studies, with a second major in Psychology.

Petty Wattam’s commitment to St. Pete includes serving on the Board of Trustees for the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors for the EmpowHERment, and the board of her neighborhood association. Previously, she served as Chair of Leadership St. Pete, Class of 2022, after graduating from the program in 2017, and as an alumnae advisor to Pi Beta Phi at University of Tampa. She and her husband are proud volunteer Breeder Hosts for two of Southeastern Guide Dogs’s young Labradors.

“For the past eight years, I’ve been privileged to work alongside Lindsay as she exemplifies our core values and our commitment to our clients, our team, and our community,” said Kelly Pyper, President, adding “She’s demonstrated the aptitude of being an entrepreneur from day one—with all of the pros and cons that go along with it—so she deserves the rewards that this partnership will provide for her.”

The agency is well-known in the area with a varied client roster including the Community Foundation Tampa Bay, Priority One Financial Services, St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership, La Segunda restaurants, and recently launched the “Be Bold” campaign for the University of South Florida.
