ST. PETERSBURG SATURDAY MORNING MARKET WILL BE HELD IN A ONE-TIME ALTERNATE LOCATION ON 2/19/22

[ST. PETERSBURG, FL, February 10, 2022] As downtown St. Petersburg prepares for the 2022 Firestone Grand Prix, the Saturday Morning Market will move to an alternate location while its usual space is a staging ground for the street race track construction. The Market will be centered at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and 5th Street N, adjacent to City Hall. Vendors will be located on both thoroughfares.

Offering fresh farm produce, flowers, artisan food products, ready-to-eat foods from more than 15 countries, and handmade crafts, the Saturday Morning Market has been an institution for locals and visitors for nearly twenty years.

The Market will operate on 2/12/22 in its usual location at the Al Lang Stadium parking lot. There will be no Market on 2/26/22 in deference to the Grand Prix. Market will resume in its usual location on 3/5/22.

Founded in 2002, St. Petersburg Saturday Morning Market is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to be the “heart” of St. Petersburg - the place where people feel a strong sense of joyful connectedness and creative community. Operating from October - May in the Al Lang Stadium parking lot, and June - September in Williams Park, the Market showcases a ??close-knit community of local business owners, makers and musicians.
