Come out and enjoy Southwest Florida’s premier architectural home tour, returning for its 25th season! This year’s exciting experience explores architectural diversity and showcases 10 homes spotlighting our urban rebirth and the phenomenon of living large in small spaces. The 25th Annual BungalowFest will feature Craftsman Bungalows, Ranch, Mid-Century, and Modern homes with a special look inside a former grocery store converted into a 4-unit complex. BungalowFest will also offer guided tours of Historic St. Petersburg High School's renovations, giving an exclusive look into the history of the nation's first million-dollar high school. Kenwood is known for being the neighborhood of the Arts in St. Petersburg, and highlighted along the tour will be numerous Public Art Installations throughout Historic Kenwood.
Check-in and registration begin at St. Petersburg High School at 2501 5th Ave. N. Stroll or use the free continuous Trolleys, which transport guests throughout the neighborhood to view the selected Tour Homes. Tickets are $25.00 and available online at www.historickenwood.org. Tickets will also be available at St. Petersburg High School on the day of the event for $30.00. Additionally, a silent auction will occur at the High School on the event day with items provided by local businesses with last bids by 3:00 pm.
BungalowFest draws hundreds of visitors each year, and the neighborhood is delighted to again welcome everyone to the beautiful brick lined streets of this uniquely significant area of St. Petersburg, which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
