Trident Makes Inc. 5000 List for Fifth Year in a Row
Inc. Magazine Unveils Its Annual List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies—the Inc. 5000
SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. August 16, 2022 – For the fifth year in a row, Trident has ranked among the top 5,000 companies in the nation with a three-year revenue growth of 677%
Inc. magazine revealed that Trident is No. 954 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
“We’ve said it before and we’ll continue saying it. The success of our company is a direct result of the incredible team we have here at Trident,” said Heath Haley, CEO of Trident. “Our people make this company what it is. From Chattanooga to Saint Petersburg to Maple Grove, I truly believe we have the best employees in the business.”
Not only have the companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2022 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth at a median rate of 230%. The Inc. 5000’s total revenue was $317.6 billion with 1,179,282 jobs added, 695 newly founded companies that made the list, and 2,917 repeat honorees.
“Not even the sky is the limit for us,” said Mark Harrell, COO of Trident. “According to Inc., fewer than 5% of companies make the list five or more years in a row – that’s a huge accomplishment for us. We will continue to strive for growth, strive to be the best place to work, and strive to make it on the list for the sixth year in a row.”
Since Trident’s first appearance on the Inc. 5000 list, the company has successfully grown their two additional branches in Chattanooga, TN and Maple Grove, MN. Trident has been recognized as a Best Place to Work and a Best Logistics Company in Chattanooga for three years and won the 2022 Small Business of the Year Award by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.
