Vertical Ventures Climbing Gym Launches New Membership Scholarship Program, Orange Climbing
the launch of the Orange Climbing Membership Scholarship, a new program aimed at making
climbing more accessible to individuals and families who participate in local, state, or federal
assistance programs. This initiative reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive and
welcoming climbing community.
• Eligibility: To qualify for the membership scholarship, applicants must provide proof of
participation in a local, state, or federal assistance program. Examples include SNAP,
NSLP, CEP, POC Emergency Services Program, or PCUL.
• Discount: Accepted participants will enjoy a 50% discount off the standard monthly
membership rate for an entire year.
• Duration: Memberships are billed monthly and valid for 12 months. Renewal is required
after the 12-month period.
• Rental Gear: All scholarship members will receive free rental gear for the first month
of their membership.
To ensure a high-quality experience, the program will accept 20 applicants every six months
(December and June application periods). This means there are limited spots available each
year, and applying does not guarantee a membership.
• Applications for the December period open now, with notifications sent to accepted
applicants on January 1st.
• Applications for the June period will open mid-year, with notifications sent on July 1st.
