Weapon Brand Offers Women’s-Only Firearm Safety Training Led by a Female Instructor
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Weapon Brand Offers Women’s-Only Firearm Safety Training Led by a Female Instructor
October 24 class offers a supportive space for women to build confidence and learn firearm fundamentals; free public-threat workshop follows October 29.
PINELLAS PARK, FL — Women deserve to feel comfortable asking questions, learning new skills, and taking charge of their safety. Weapon Brand is creating space for exactly that with its Women’s-Only Firearm Safety and Fundamentals + Multi-State CCW class on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Kinetix Inspired Fitness, 6561 102nd Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782.
Taught by a female, trauma-informed, USCCA-licensed instructor, the class provides a welcoming environment for women who are new to firearms or want to strengthen their understanding of safe, responsible ownership. Participants will learn firearm safety and fundamentals, along with education supporting the pursuit of multi-state concealed carry permits. Permit eligibility and application requirements vary by state.
For some women, walking into a firearm classroom can feel intimidating—especially if they have little experience or have lived through a frightening encounter. This women’s-only class gives participants a space to feel supported, respected, and comfortable asking questions without pressure or judgment. No prior firearm experience is needed.
“Our classes have been so successful with women that women now make up much of the attendance, even in classes that aren’t designated women’s-only,” said Jamie Anderson, co-founder of Weapon Brand. “We absolutely still serve men, but much of our work focuses on women and corporate teams. Women deserve a classroom where they feel comfortable speaking up and learning—not intimidated or afraid to ask a question.”
Weapon Brand’s approach centers on preparation and empowerment: helping participants build practical knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their safety. Its message, “Be Your OWN Weapon,” reflects the belief that awareness, mindset, and training are essential parts of personal protection.
Free Community Workshop: Caught in Chaos—Surviving a Public Threat
Weapon Brand will also offer “Caught in Chaos—Surviving a Public Threat” on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the same Kinetix Inspired Fitness location. This free educational session focuses on awareness, preparation, and response considerations during a public threat.
