Zubrick Magic Theatre Named “Small Business of the Year” by the Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber
TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber has named Zubrick Magic Theatre the recipient of its prestigious “Small Business of the Year” award during the Pride in Business Luncheon held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa.
Co-owners and master Illusionists Chris and Ryan Zubrick accepted the honor in recognition of their exceptional business leadership, community engagement, and steadfast commitment to inclusion, representation, and meaningful connection.
Located in downtown St. Petersburg, Zubrick Magic Theatre has become a top destination for both locals and visitors. More than just a theatre, it’s a place where families, couples, and friends gather to experience the joy and wonder of live magic in a space that is welcoming to all.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition,” said Ryan Zubrick. “From day one, we set out to create not only a world-class theatre experience but also a place where everyone feels valued, seen, and celebrated.”
As an LGBTQ+-owned business, the Zubricks lead with purpose. Their efforts extend far beyond the stage. Chris and Ryan understand the power of representation and reinforce it with consistent, intentional action. Over the past year alone, Zubrick Magic Theatre has supported regional Pride events, contributed to LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations, and partnered with a wide network of LGBTQ+-owned and -led businesses. They’ve also provided space to local nonprofits, donated to fundraisers, and consistently shown up for the community—not just during Pride Month, but throughout the year.
“We believe that magic happens not just in our performance on stage, but in the real moments of connection we create with others,” said Chris Zubrick. “Receiving this award from the Chamber reinforces just how important that mission truly is.”
The impact of Zubrick Magic Theatre is felt across the Tampa Bay region—not only through its dazzling performances but also through its dedication to creating an inclusive, empowering, and joyful experience for every patron, at every show.
